Watercolor from a photograph I took during the light show on the Eiffel Tower in Paris. A time-consuming process of masking the image of the Eiffel onto the paper with a metal point and masking fluid one tiny stroke at a time. The piece is then painted over and finished all except the tower. It took 7 layers of deep watercolor tones to create the night sky. The masking medium is then rubbed off and the tower was finished avoiding the dark paint as it would wash into the lights of the tower.
